Hi, I’m Marcus Ho. I’m a DJ with deep roots in New York City nightlife and a journey that began in the underground rave scene of 1990s Seattle. That early education taught me that great DJing is not just about music selection. It’s about timing, flow, and creating an atmosphere where people feel connected and present.
Today, I specialize in weddings, private events, and nightlife, with a particular love for weddings and milestone celebrations. I take pride in creating soundtracks that support the full arc of the day, from the first toast to the final song on a packed dance floor. I work closely with my clients to understand their vision and make sure the music feels personal, intentional, and effortless, so they can stay in the moment and enjoy their day.
My background in acting plays a big role in how I DJ. Years of performing on stage and screen sharpened my sense of timing, emotional awareness, and how to read a room. Just as importantly, that experience trained me to think beyond the music, staying on top of pacing, production flow, and technical coordination so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Those skills translate directly to the booth, helping me guide the energy of an event with confidence and clarity.
